Around the District – Feb/March
Manatee Lodge No. 31: Stated meetings – 1st & 3rd Mondays at 7:30PM. First meeting Steak Night: $10.00.
Manatee has put their 2016 Scholarship Application out on line.
They will be hosting Zone 8 Workshop or District 27 Workshop on February 20th, 2016 at 9AM – 12 Noon by Brother David Finkelstein.
Braidentown Lodge No. 99: Stated Meetings – 1st & 3rd Tuesdays at 7:30PM. Degree Practice – February 9th & 23rd, at 6:30PM.
Family night and dinner February 16th at 6:30PM, Stated Meeting at 7:30PM.
Palmetto Lodge No. 110: Stated Meetings 2nd & 4th Tuesdays.
Sarasota Lodge No. 147: Stated Meetings 2nd & 4th Tuesdays.
Venice Lodge No. 301: Stated Meetings 1st & 3rd Mondays at 7:30PM. Feb 1st will have a guest speaker PGM from Nova Scotia MW Paul Frank.
Family night on February 15th, dinner at 6PM. All non meeting Monday nights will be having degree and ritual practice at 7PM. 4th Monday officer meeting, then practice.
They will be having a cruise to Cabbage Key on March 5th, cost will be around $32.00 per person not including lunch. Contact Brother Greene at jhgreene@gmail.com.
Phoenix Lodge No. 346: Stated Meetings 1st & 3rd Tuesdays. Dinner before each meeting at 6:30 PM. EA Degree Tuesday, February 23rd at 7PM and MM Degree February 27th (Saturday) at 9AM. WM Juan Sanchez talked about having a Float in the 4th of July Parade and Christmas Parade for the 27th District. He already has the float, more coming on this. He also announced that Phoenix Lodge is voting to make RW Goacher an Honorary Member of Phoenix Lodge.
Englewood Lodge No. 360: Stated Meeting, 1st & 3rd Tuesdays.
North Port Lodge No. 406: Stated Meeting, 2nd & 4th Wednesdays. Will be having a breakfast on the 5th of March and a Widow’s dinner will be held on end of March, date later.

February 17th – Masonic Leadership Education by PM Gene Marinelli at Phoenic Lodge 346
February 20th – Brother David Finkelstein will be holding his Masonic Education on February 20th 9AM – 12Noon at Manatee Lodge No. 31
February 25th – Master Mason Association meeting on Feb 25th at Englewood Lodge No. 360
February 25th – RW John Westerman III from Travelers Lodge No. 390 is running for Grand South and will be at the MMA February meeting with RW Rusty Glendinning doing the introduction.
March 30th – Rusty Mason Night at Sahib Shrine, put on by the Past Masters Unit at Sahib. Please contact all Rusty Masons that have not been in lodge for a long time. It will be well worth their time and effort. 6:30PM – 7PM Registration (Must have current dues card, signed!) Open to all Master Masons.
