Lodge Reports:
Manatee Lodge No. 31: Stated meetings – 1st & 3rd Mondays at 7:30PM. First meeting is Steak night – $10.00, Second meeting is up to the Senior Warden; – $10.00. We have put our 2016 Scholarship Applications out on line. March 1st we have two candidates going to Sarasota Lodge No. 147 for an EA degree. March 7th will be the DDGM visit with his committee men.
Braidentown Lodge No. 99: Stated meetings – 1st & 3rd Tuesdays at 7:30PM. March 3rd, 10th and 15th at 7PM , practice first section of MM degree for April 2nd. March 22nd, 29th & 31st at 7PM practice for second section of the MM Degree. Manning up at the Farmer’s Market in Manatee on Saturday March 19th.. March 25th Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser – 5:30-7:00- $8.00 per person. OES Chapter 87 will be having their Installation of Officers on March 5th at 2PM. Palmetto Lodge No. 110: No report – Stated meetings 2nd & 4th Tuesdays at 7:30PM.
Sarasota Lodge No. 137: Stated Meetings 2nd & 4th Tuesdays – MM Degree – Saturday, March 12th and Tuesday March 29th EA Degree, no time given. Open Books will be on Saturday, March 5th, 9AM – Noon.
Venice Lodge No. 301: Stated Meetings 1st & 3rd Mondays at 7:30PM. Wednesday, March 2nd – Hosting Millennium Masons Round Table with W. Dobbs at 6PM. Saturday March 5th – Cruise to Cabbage Key, leave Fisherman’s Village 8:30AM. March 10th & 24th – DeMolay – 7PM. Rainbow Girls meet March 10th & 27th at 7PM. March 17th – Venice Council No. 41 – 7:30PM. March 21st, Family Dinner only $10.00. March 28th – Ritual & Degree Practice 7PM.
Phoenix Lodge No. 346: Stated Meetings 1st & 3rd Tuesdays at 7:30PM. Tuesday, March 1st DDGM vsit at 7:30PM. Thursday, March 3rd & Monday March 7th Fellow Craft Degree Practice.
Tuesday, March 8th Fellow Craft Degree at 7PM. Saturday, March 19th Fund Raiser at
Carrabba’s Restaurant starting at 11AM, only $10.00. Tuesday March 29th Past Masters Night, family night and dinner at 7PM. Wednesday, March 30th – Rusty Mason Night at Sahib Shrine Center starting at 6PM. Sponsored by the Past Masters Unit. Tiled Meeting and must have a current DUES CARD. All Master Masons are welcome. Refreshments following meeting.
Englewood No. 360: Stated Meetings – 1st & 3rd Tuesdays. – No Report
North Port No. 406: Stated Meetings – 2nd & 4th Wednesdays – No report.
Other important dates around the district:
RW Ron Baber DDGM will be visiting Lodges on March 1st at Phoenix Lodge No. 346, Manatee Lodge No. 31 on March 7th, at Sarasota Lodge No, 147 on March 8th and Englewood No. 360, March 15th.
DeMolay ball game outing with friends. Voted to purchase 25 tickets for the ball games on Sunday, March 20th. See Al Dahlberg if you are interested in going. 10AM-2PM.
March is designed as “Masonic Youth Month”.
Wednesday March 16th at 7PM, Leadership Training Class put on by W. Gene Marinelli at Venice Lodge No. 301.
March 24th meeting RW Rudin J. Boatright will speak, he is also running for the Grand South. Next meeting we will have Grand Lodge Legislature discussion.
March 30th – Rusty Mason Night at Sahib Shrine, put on by the Past Masters Unit at Sahib. Please contact all Rusty Masons that have not been in lodge for a long time. It will be well worth their time and effort. 6:30PM – 7PM Registration (Must have current dues card, signed!) Open to all Master Masons.
